Privacy and feedback
How data is handled by the current site features.
Reading the site
You can browse MAG without creating an account. Reading articles and using experiments does not require your name or email.
“I found this helpful” feedback
When the feedback component loads, the site sets a functional cookie named __Host-mag-reader with a random identifier for this browser for up to one year. It remembers your choice and limits duplicate votes; it does not identify your name. Reactions are stored in Supabase with the content identifier, random reader identifier and creation time. Visitors see only the aggregate count.
Managing your choice
You can undo your reaction using the same button in the browser you used. Clearing site cookies removes the identifier from your device but does not automatically delete a previous vote from the database and may prevent it from being associated with your browser again.
Lab and project experiments
Prompt Builder text and edits in the school and data demos are processed in your browser. These tools do not send that content to an AI service or store it in a database. Experiments reset on reload; downloading a file or copying text creates a copy at your request. Preview data is fictional.
Contact and external links
Email buttons open your email app and do not send automatically. If you send a message, MAG receives your address and message to respond to your request. Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, X and independent guides lead to services with their own privacy practices.
Hosting and technical logs
MAG uses Netlify for hosting and the feedback service, and Supabase to store reactions. Operating services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request times for operation and protection; the feedback service uses rate limiting. The site code currently adds no Google Analytics or advertising trackers.
